VIDEO: Why College Ultimate Players Should Play Club

People are starting to play ultimate at increasingly younger ages. As a result, college players now are more experienced than college players were just ten years ago. Traditionally, the club level ultimate players with an edge in experience and skill have been college graduates. Now, more and more college players are able to match the old guard of club teams throw for throw, and outrun them as well. Northwestern Ultimate Team, known as NUT, has more players trying out for club teams during the summer of 2012 than ever before, whether in the Chicagoland area or elsewhere in the country. 2012-2013 NUT captains Chirag Modi, Ian Preston and Ben Richardson discuss their experiences with the tryout process so far:
